About the Role:

We are seeking an experienced Accountant to join our client’s team. This senior-level role is ideal for a highly skilled professional with a strong foundation in financial reporting, reconciliations, and compliance. The Accountant will be responsible for managing complex accounting functions, streamlining processes, and serving as a trusted partner to leadership by providing accurate and timely financial insights.

Key Responsibilities:

-Prepare, analyze, and review monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements.
-Oversee general ledger reconciliations and maintain accurate records.
-Manage and lead the month-end and year-end close processes.
-Contribute to budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis.
-Ensure compliance with GAAP, tax regulations, and internal policies.
-Support external audits by preparing documentation and addressing inquiries.
-Recommend and implement process improvements for greater efficiency.
-Provide guidance and mentorship to junior accounting staff.

Qualifications:

-Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field (CPA preferred but not required).
-3-5 years of progressive accounting experience, including advanced-level responsibilities.
-Strong knowledge of GAAP and financial reporting standards.
-Proficiency with Microsoft Excel and accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, NetSuite, Oracle, SAP).
-Exceptional attention to detail and analytical skills.
-Effective communication and leadership abilities.
