Accountant – Temp-to-Hire
Pay: $24–27/hour
Schedule: Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM

The Accountant will support the Financial Department by managing daily accounting tasks. Responsibilities include maintaining financial reports, analyzing balance sheets, managing general ledger accounts, updating financial statements, handling accounts receivable and payable, processing payroll, and preparing financial reports. The ideal candidate will be well-versed in accounting principles, comfortable working with numbers, detail-oriented, and dedicated to supporting the efficient operation of the department.
Key Responsibilities:
Post and process journal entries to ensure all business transactions are accurately recorded
Update accounts receivable and accounts payable and perform reconciliations
Assist in preparing balance sheets, income statements, and other financial statements in compliance with legal and company guidelines
Review expenses and payroll records as assigned
Maintain accurate financial data in databases for immediate access
Prepare and submit weekly/monthly financial reports
Assist the Accounting Manager with monthly and yearly closings
Perform general ledger operations
Support implementation and maintenance of internal financial controls and procedures
Required Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting is required
Coachable with a can-do attitude
Strong attention to detail and accuracy
Ability to handle confidential information with care
Assessment:
Candidates will be asked to complete a brief accounting assessment (5–10 minutes) as part of the hiring process.
