Junior/Senior Accountant - Bilingual Mandarin
Essential Duties/Responsibilities
· Prepare financial statements, including balance sheets, income statements on a monthly basis. Reconcile vendor statements, research and correct discrepancies.
· Maintain accurate and up-to-date financial records, including ledgers, journals, and financial databases. Review general ledger on a monthly basis to ensure accuracy of postings.
· Ensure the timely and accurate reporting of monthly/quarterly/year-end close financial information.
· Managing and ensure compliance with IRS Form 1099 reporting requirements.
· Assist in internal and external audits by providing documentation and supporting schedules as needed.
· Follow established guidelines to manage accounts payable and accounts receivable processes, including invoice processing, payment collection, and reconciliation.
· Monitor and analyze department workload and workflow to assist in the development and implementation of more efficient procedures and use of resources while maintaining a high level of accuracy.
· Analyze financial data and trends to provide insights and recommendations to management for decision-making purposes.
· Establish and maintain internal controls to safeguard company assets and ensure the accuracy of financial records.
· Utilize accounting software and other financial tools to streamline processes and improve efficiency in financial reporting and analysis.
· Review and post sales batches.
· Prepare, file, and remit sales tax and business & occupation (B&O) tax in accordance with state and local tax regulations. Maintain accurate tax records and ensure compliance with reporting deadlines to avoid penalties.
