A growing organization in Maitland, FL is seeking an English/Spanish Bilingual Customer Account Specialist to support customer account resolution, payment discussions, and collections-related outreach. The Customer Account Specialist Bilingual role offers a Monday through Friday schedule, no regular weekend requirement, and the opportunity to build a long-term career with a stable, performance-focused team. Key Responsibilities
- Contact customers regarding past-due mortgage, HOA, and maintenance fee balances through outbound calls and other communication channels.
- Discuss payment options, negotiate payment arrangements, and support account resolution within company guidelines.
- Monitor assigned accounts, document customer interactions, and take timely action to resolve outstanding balances.
- Research and resolve account and payment discrepancies while maintaining accurate account records.
- Identify accounts requiring escalation and follow established procedures.
- Partner with customer service, accounting, finance, and servicing teams while maintaining confidentiality and regulatory compliance.
Compensation and Benefits
- Pay: $18/hour.
- Job type: Temp-to-perm.
- Location: Maitland, FL 32751.
- Work arrangement: 100% on-site.
- Schedule: Monday through Friday.
- Hours: Two days 11:00 AM to 7:00 PM and three days 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM.
- Weekends: Closed unless overtime is offered.

Required Qualifications and Skills
- Conduct high-volume customer account outreach related to past-due balances.
- Negotiate payment arrangements and support account resolution.
- Maintain detailed account documentation and resolve payment discrepancies.
- Collaborate with internal servicing, accounting, finance, and customer service teams.
- Fluent English/Spanish bilingual communication skills are required.
- 2+ years of collections, customer service, call center, sales, mortgage servicing, or related experience is preferred.
- Strong communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
- Professional and confident telephone presence.
- Ability to handle sensitive financial conversations with respect, empathy, and professionalism.
- Excellent attention to detail, organization, and follow-through.
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced, performance-driven environment.
- Typing speed of at least 35 WPM is required.
- Reliable attendance and punctuality are required.
Preferred Qualifications
- Collections experience is strongly preferred.
- High-volume outbound calling experience is a plus.
- Experience with mortgage servicing, HOA accounts, maintenance fees, or financial services customer accounts is helpful.
