Job Title: Accounts Receivable / Collections Clerk

Job Type: Full-Time

About the Role
Our Accounting Department is seeking a detail-oriented and motivated **Accounts Receivable / Collections Clerk** to join our team. This role is ideal for someone with a strong background in accounts receivable and collections who thrives in a structured, professional office environment.

Key Responsibilities

Manage accounts receivable and soft collections activities
Respond to client inquiries primarily via email (approximately 90%) with occasional phone contact (approximately 10%)
Send, track, and follow up on invoices and payment reminders
Maintain accurate and organized electronic filing systems
Utilize Microsoft Outlook and Excel to communicate and manage account updates
Perform data extraction and document handling using Oracle (training provided)
Provide general administrative support to the Accounting Department
Communicate clearly, professionally, and effectively in writing

Qualifications

Minimum of 3 years of experience in accounts receivable and/or collections
High school diploma or equivalent required
Proficiency in Microsoft Outlook and Excel
Comfortable communicating with clients in both written and verbal formats
Must be able to pass a background check and 10-panel drug test
