A well-established financial planning firm in Greenville, SC is seeking an Account Manager, Client Service Representative to provide exceptional client service, administrative support, and account maintenance support to advisors, paraplanners, and clients. Key Responsibilities
- Serve as a primary point of contact for clients, handling service calls, questions, account updates, and follow-up with professionalism and care.
- Manage client account maintenance requests, including address changes, banking updates, beneficiary revisions, contributions, withdrawals, transfers, distributions, RMDs, and QCDs.
- Prepare, submit, document, and track client paperwork and transactions from start to finish to ensure accurate and timely completion.
- Support advisors and paraplanners by preparing meeting folders, financial materials, and client documentation for seamless meetings.
- Maintain accurate client records, activity notes, household updates, and next steps within the firm’s CRM system.
- Identify opportunities to improve processes, enhance client satisfaction, and support team efficiency.
Compensation and Benefits

- Salary range: $55,000 to $70,000 per year.

Required Qualifications and Skills
- Manage client communications, service requests, and account maintenance needs in a financial planning environment.
- Prepare and track financial services paperwork, applications, transfers, distributions, contributions, RMDs, QCDs, and related documentation.
- Maintain CRM records, client files, meeting materials, and internal updates with accuracy and confidentiality.
- Coordinate with advisors, paraplanners, and internal team members to deliver an excellent client experience.
- 6 to 10 years of relevant professional experience preferred based on the level of the role.
- Prior experience in financial services, banking, wealth management, or a similar client-focused financial environment is required.
- Strong customer service, client relations, and interpersonal communication skills.
- Excellent organizational, multitasking, time-management, and follow-up abilities.
- High attention to detail and accuracy in documentation, data entry, and client account processing.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook.
- Ability to handle confidential and sensitive client information with professionalism and discretion.
- Proven ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.
- Reliable, proactive, and committed to providing a high-quality client experience.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience using CRM and portfolio management systems such as Redtail, Orion, or similar platforms.
- South Carolina Insurance License preferred, or willingness to obtain.
- Additional professional development and continuing education are encouraged.
