Position Overview
The Account Manager will serve as the primary point of contact for key clients, driving relationship management, business growth, and customer satisfaction. This role requires a strong balance of technical understanding and client-facing expertise, with the ability to translate complex semiconductor solutions into clear customer value.
You will collaborate closely with global teams across sales, engineering, manufacturing, and support functions to deliver best-in-class service and strategic account development.
Key Responsibilities
* Manage and grow relationships with key customer accounts
* Act as the primary liaison between customers and internal teams
* Develop and execute strategic account plans in collaboration with global sales teams
* Address complex customer inquiries and provide timely, effective solutions
* Partner cross-functionally with engineering, manufacturing, finance, and support teams
* Support contract negotiations and business development initiatives
* Participate in evening meetings to align with international teams
* Deliver reporting, forecasting, and account updates to leadership
Required Qualifications
* 6–10 years of experience in account management, sales, or customer relationship management
* Strong background in the semiconductor industry (backend, packaging, substrates, or chips)
* Experience working in mid-to-large international organizations
* Proven success managing complex accounts and driving customer satisfaction
* Strong negotiation, problem-solving, and communication skills
* Ability to analyze situations and recommend effective solutions
* Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Word)
Preferred Qualifications
* Experience with companies such as Intel, AMD, or similar semiconductor organizations
* Knowledge of semiconductor backend processes, packaging, assembly, and test
* Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Engineering, or related field
* Strong program/project management skills
Location & Work Schedule
* Hybrid: 3 days onsite / 2 days remote
* Primary location: San Diego, CA (92121)

* Relocation to San Diego may be required within 6 months
Compensation & Benefits
* Competitive base salary: $130K – $165K
* Performance-based bonus (discussed during interview)
