Job Description:
We are seeking a dynamic and results-driven Commercial Accounts Executive to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for building a strong sales pipeline, prospecting, and closing commercial accounts in a timely manner. You will be part of a high-performing sales team that is focused on delivering exceptional customer experiences, driving revenue growth, and achieving long-term account goals aligned with company objectives.
Key Responsibilities:
Prospecting & Lead Generation:
Proactively generate leads through telephone outreach, networking, cold calling, and referrals to secure appointments with prospective clients.
Track and report on sales activities, customer interactions, and pipeline progression.
Sales Strategy & Execution:
Develop and execute strategies to move prospects through the sales funnel effectively and efficiently.
Meet with potential clients, including owners, IT managers, and CFOs, to assess their telecommunications needs and other business challenges.
Present products and services that align with the customer’s business requirements and pain points.
Sales Conversion & Account Management:
Close sales by demonstrating the value of the product/services, explaining costs, and obtaining contract signatures.
Handle all aspects of account management, including regular communication with clients and internal resources.
Ensure a predictable monthly sales forecast and consistently exceed sales objectives.
Customer Relationship & Retention:
Develop and maintain strong, long-term relationships with clients to maximize new business opportunities and retain customers.
Generate customer referrals and expand the customer base through positive engagement.
KPI Achievement & Sales Documentation:
Consistently meet department KPIs such as visits, leads, proposals, closing ratios, and sales quotas.
Maintain accurate sales documentation and CRM system entries on a daily basis.
Trade Shows & Industry Events:
Participate in industry events, trade shows, and corporate events to represent the company and build brand awareness.
Engage in customer entertainment activities to strengthen business relationships.
Continuous Learning & Product Knowledge:
Stay up-to-date with current and new products, services, and competitor offerings through training and industry seminars.
Continuously improve knowledge of the markets served to better understand customer needs.
Qualifications:
Proven experience in sales, preferably in a commercial accounts or B2B environment.
Strong communication and negotiation skills.
Ability to build and maintain strong business relationships.
Self-motivated, goal-oriented, and able to work independently.
Familiarity with CRM systems and sales documentation.
Willingness to attend industry events and trade shows.
Excellent organizational and time-management skills.
Strong problem-solving skills and customer-focused approach.
