Seeking an experienced and highly self-sufficient Senior Loan Operations Officer to join our team as the lead resource within the Loan Operations department. This role requires an advanced understanding of loan servicing and complex loan documentation, along with the ability to work independently while providing expert guidance to the Loan Operations Team and support to the VP–Loan Operations Manager. The Senior Loan Operations Officer will manage complex operational functions including regulatory reporting, coordination and oversight of internal audits, timely completion of subpoenas, and accurate execution of monthly and quarterly loan pledging. The incumbent serves in a lead capacity and must demonstrate strong communication skills, sound judgment, and the ability to troubleshoot and resolve sophisticated customer and operational issues, all while ensuring strict adherence to Bank policies, procedures, and applicable state and federal regulations. In this role, the Senior Loan Operations Officer provides advanced support for new loans, renewals, and modifications—primarily commercial—using Laser Pro, and oversees the accurate and timely completion of SBA 1502 reporting and SBA 7(a) monitoring through the CAFS system. The position manages all incoming SBA and Guidehouse communications, oversees SBA 7(a) payoffs, administers Rocket Mortgage/Quicken processes and audits, and works directly with Falconbridge, DMI, and U.S. Bank on Mortgage Pool purchases. Additional responsibilities include completing Federal Reserve Bank and Federal Home Loan Bank pledging, coordinating subpoena research in partnership with Legal Counsel and departmental stakeholders, conducting Flood Insurance audits, and managing audit and exam preparation for Compliance, Fair Lending, the Federal Reserve Bank, FHLB, and Mortgage Pools. While this role carries no formal supervisory responsibilities, it requires a high level of leadership, expertise, and reliability. Great benefits, perks and opportunity for growth. Qualified candidates will have a minimum of 7 years of banking experience in Loan Operations and at least 2 years of loan documentation experience, preferably with commercial loans and Laser Pro. Strong knowledge of complex entity structures, as they relate to loan documentation, is essential. Candidates must demonstrate excellent written and verbal communication skills, strong organizational and time-management abilities, and the capacity to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment. A professional demeanor, strong interpersonal skills, and intermediate proficiency with Microsoft Excel and other Office applications are required.
