AVP, Credit Analyst/Underwriter

Seeking an experienced AVP, Credit Analyst / Underwriter to support credit analysis, underwriting, and loan portfolio monitoring. This role works independently under minimal supervision and plays a key part in evaluating borrower risk and supporting sound lending decisions.

Responsibilities
• Analyze business and personal financial information to assess credit risk
• Review and spread financial statements, tax returns, and credit reports
• Prepare detailed credit analyses and loan presentations for Loan Committee
• Monitor and manage loan portfolio risk using portfolio management tools
• Support annual CRE loan reviews, covenant monitoring, and tickler tracking
• Evaluate appraisals, leases, and related credit documentation
• Partner with Loan Officers and Senior Underwriters to resolve credit issues
• Ensure compliance with bank policies and regulatory requirements

Qualifications
• 3–5+ years of commercial banking or credit analysis experience preferred
• Bachelor’s degree preferred or equivalent experience
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
• Proficiency with Excel and spreadsheet software
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
