Job Overview
A well-established law firm is seeking a Community Association Attorney with experience advising condominium and homeowner associations. This role focuses on providing practical, business-minded legal guidance to association boards on governance, compliance, and dispute resolution.
Prior paralegal experience before becoming an attorney is a strong plus.
Key Responsibilities
Advise condominium and homeowner association boards on compliance with applicable statutes and regulations
Draft, review, and amend governing documents, including covenants, bylaws, rules, and amendments
Prepare and review contracts and other association-related legal documents
Assist clients with dispute resolution, including mediation and arbitration
Counsel boards on governance issues, elections, and enforcement matters
Qualifications
2+ years of legal practice experience (community association or real estate law preferred)
Strong legal research, drafting, and analytical skills
Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
Highly detail-oriented with strong organizational skills
Education & Licensure
Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school
Active Florida Bar membership in good standing
