Position Summary
The Accounts Payable Associate (Temporary) is responsible for supporting the daily operations of the Accounts Payable Department, ensuring timely and accurate processing of invoices, vendor payments, and related transactions. This role assists with, resolving discrepancies, and ensuring compliance with company policies and procedures.

Key Responsibilities
• Review, code, and process vendor invoices.
• Match purchase orders, packing slips, and invoices for accuracy.
• Clarify any questionable invoice items, such as cost and quantity.
• Partner with our vendors, distribution centers, and buyers to resolve any concerns.
• Reconcile vendor statements and resolve invoice/payment discrepancies promptly.
• Maintain organized and accurate documentation for all payable transactions.
• Respond to vendor inquiries in a professional and timely manner.
• Support the AP team with special projects and ad hoc requests, as needed.

Qualifications
• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• 2+ years of accounts payable or general accounting experience.
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel, accounting software (Oracle Fusion) and REIM.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
• Excellent organizational and time management skills.
• Ability to work in a team environment, able to provide direct feedback and communicate well with others.
• Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment.
• Able to Meet deadlines and prioritizes appropriately.
