Do you have accounting experience? We are working with a company located in the Baden, PA area that is looking for an AP Specialist to join their team. The Accounts Payable Specialist is responsible for managing the company’s outgoing financial transactions. The AP Specialist ensures that invoices are processed accurately and timely, vendors are paid according to terms, and financial records are maintained in compliance with company policies and accounting standards. Key Responsibilities of the AP Specialist:
- Review, verify, and process invoices and expense reports.
- Match purchase orders with invoices and ensure proper approvals.
- Enter and upload invoices into the accounting system.
- Reconcile vendor statements and resolve discrepancies.
- Prepare and process electronic transfers and payments.
- Maintain vendor files and ensure accurate records.
- Assist with month-end closing and accruals.
- Respond to internal and external inquiries regarding payments.
- Ensure compliance with company policies and procedures.

Qualifications of the AP Specialist:
- Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field preferred.
- 2+ years of experience in accounts payable or general accounting.
- Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., SAP, Oracle, QuickBooks).
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
- Ability to work independently and meet deadlines.
