Job Description: We are seeking a detail-oriented and highly skilled Accounts Payable Specialist to join our finance team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in accounting, exceptional Excel skills, and a minimum of 5 years of experience in the manufacturing industry. This role is crucial to ensuring the accuracy and efficiency of our accounts payable processes, and you will play a key part in maintaining our financial integrity.
Key Responsibilities:
- Process and manage accounts payable transactions, including verifying invoices, coding expenses, and ensuring timely payments.
- Reconcile vendor statements and resolve discrepancies promptly.
- Maintain accurate and organized records of all accounts payable activities.
- Collaborate with internal departments to ensure proper documentation and approval of expenses.
- Utilize advanced Excel skills to analyze data, create reports, and streamline processes.
- Assist in month-end closing procedures and provide support for audits.
- Continuously seek opportunities to improve accounts payable processes and implement best practices.
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
Minimum of 5 years of experience as an Accounts Payable Specialist or similar role in the manufacturing industry.
Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including advanced functions and data analysis.
Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.
