A well-established and rapidly growing construction company in San Diego is seeking a detail-oriented and motivated Accounts Payable/Accounts Receivable (AP/AR) Specialist to join their dynamic accounting team. This is an excellent opportunity for someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment and enjoys contributing to essential financial operations. Key responsibilities on the Accounts Payable side include processing vendor invoices with accuracy and proper documentation, matching purchase orders, receipts, and invoices, managing vendor relationships, and responding to inquiries in a timely and professional manner. On the Accounts Receivable side, duties include generating and sending customer invoices, monitoring receivables and following up on outstanding payments, applying payments accurately to customer accounts, and maintaining organized, up-to-date customer records.
The ideal candidate will have at least 2 years of AP/AR experience, preferably within the construction industry, and should be proficient with accounting software such as QuickBooks, Sage, or similar platforms. Strong attention to detail, excellent communication skills, and the ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently are essential.
