We’re seeking a detail-oriented Accounts Receivable Clerk for a temp to hire assignment supporting a growing organization in the agriculture industry. This position is ideal for someone with hands-on AR experience who is comfortable working in a high-volume invoicing environment and can start immediately.
💰 PAY & SCHEDULE
• $21.00–$23.00 per hour
• Temp to hire assignment • Full-time, 8-hour shift
• Shafter/Bakersfield area
• Immediate start needed
• 1–2+ years of Accounts Receivable or related accounting experience required
• Hands-on experience processing receivables and invoices
• Experience with Famous software strongly preferred
• Strong data-entry and computer skills
• Excellent attention to detail and accuracy
• Ability to manage a high-volume workload of approximately 200–300 invoices per week
• Strong organizational and time-management skills
• Dependable, focused, and comfortable working in a fast-paced accounting environment
• Must be available to start quickly
💼 WHAT YOU’LL DO
• Process high-volume Accounts Receivable invoices accurately and on schedule
• Review invoices for accuracy, completeness, and proper coding
• Enter, review, and maintain receivables information
• Track invoices and maintain accurate AR documentation
• Support daily accounting and receivables workflows
• Research and help resolve invoice discrepancies or missing information
• Communicate with internal team members to ensure accurate and timely processing
• Maintain organized accounting records for review and reconciliation
🌱 A PLUS IF YOU HAVE
Previous accounting experience within agriculture, produce, farming, food production, or a related industry is highly desirable.
