Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced Accounts Payable Specialist who can support accounting operations across multiple locations within the food and beverage production industry. This role is ideal for a detail-oriented accounting professional who enjoys high-volume invoice processing, vendor communication, and keeping financial records accurate and organized.

The Accounts Payable Specialist will be working closely with management, vendors, and internal teams to ensure payments are processed accurately and on time. Key Responsibilities:
- Review, verify, code, and enter approved invoices and credit card transactions into QuickBooks.
- Process approximately 200 invoices per week while ensuring accurate coding, approvals, and documentation.
- Match invoices to checks, prepare check requests, process online payments, and prioritize invoices based on payment terms.
- Communicate with vendors, respond to inquiries, reconcile vendor statements, and resolve discrepancies.
- Maintain organized accounting files, vendor documentation, W-9 forms, and support records.
- Assist with month-end and year-end closing activities, reporting needs, and additional accounting projects.



- Pay: $22 to $25 per hour.
- Employment type: Temp-to-Hire.
- Schedule: Monday through Friday, 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.
- Location: Signal Hill, CA. 100% Onsite.

Required Qualifications and Skills:
- Accounts Payable or Accounting Clerk experience.
- Bilingual Spanish.
- Experience processing 200 or more invoices per week.
- Strong working knowledge of QuickBooks, Microsoft Excel, Microsoft Word, and 10-key by touch.
- Experience with invoice coding, check processing, reconciliations, vendor documentation, and payment processing.
- Strong attention to detail, accuracy, organization, and follow-through.
- Ability to prioritize deadlines, resolve discrepancies independently, and communicate professionally with vendors and internal teams.


Preferred Qualifications:
- Food, hospitality, or multi-location accounting experience.
- Experience supporting accounting operations in a manufacturing, production, or fast-paced business environment .
