MUST-HAVES:
* 5+ years of experience in a lead AP or AR role.
* Strong understanding of construction accounting, job costing, and subcontractor payments.
* Familiarity with lien laws, retainage, and compliance documentation.
* Experience with construction accounting software (e.g., Sage 100, Viewpoint, Procore, Spectrum, or similar).
* Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and accounting systems.
Key Responsibilities Include:
* Leading AR collections, billing support, and retainage.
* Applying customer payments, credit cards, and prep AR aging.
* Supporting cash flow forecasting.
* Overseeing AP invoices, approvals, job cost coding, and weekly payment runs.
* Tracking lien waivers, W-9s, insurance, and licenses.
* Resolving payment issues with project managers.
* Enforcing policies, procedures, and controls.
