Requirements:
* Bachelor’s in Accounting/Finance (CPA/Master’s preferred).
* Strong background in accounting, financial reporting & general ledger.
* Experience supervising staff + managing month-end & year-end close.
* Experience with financial systems/ERP + Excel.
* Knowledge of fund accounting, budgets, audits (ACFR/Single Audit).
* Municipal/City experience.
* Strong analytical, leadership & communication skills.
Key Responsibilities:
* Overseeing AP/AR, payroll, general ledger & capital asset accounting.
* Managing month-end/year-end close, bank reconciliations & Treasurer reporting.
* Supporting City budget development, forecasting & financial analysis.
* Coordinating audits, grants & compliance with governmental regulations.
* Supervising staff and improving internal controls, processes & systems.
* Maintaining financial systems & preparing financial reports/analysis.
