Position: Accounting Internship - Collections Support
Location: Hybrid (Remote & On-Site)
Pay Rate: $13.00 per hour
Position Overview:
This role will support the accounts receivable collections process and provide service to both internal and external customers. The selected candidate will assist with payment application, creation of customer accounts, and resolution of disputes related to outstanding balances. Additionally, this position will contribute to administrative tasks to ensure accuracy and proper documentation of financial records.
Key Responsibilities:
• Conduct collection calls and follow up on assigned accounts, building trust-based relationships with customers.
• Record and apply payments accurately in the company systems.
• Manage the creation and maintenance of customer accounts in the database.
• Respond to inquiries related to collections, balances, and billing, providing timely solutions.
• Maintain organized filing and documentation in accordance with established procedures.
Requirements:
• Bachelor’s Degree completed (preferably in Accounting, Business Administration, Finance or a related field).
• Availability to work Monday through Friday from 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.
• Intermediate Excel skills and proficiency in Microsoft Office.
• English proficiency – Intermediate to Advanced
