A stable and growing organization in Portland, OR is seeking an experienced A/P Supervisor to lead daily accounts payable and accounts receivable operations. The A/P Supervisor will play a key role in maintaining smooth accounting operations, reviewing invoices and payments, overseeing cash applications, and supporting account reconciliations. Key Responsibilities

- Supervise daily accounts payable and accounts receivable activities to ensure timely and accurate processing.
- Review invoices, payments, cash applications, and related accounting transactions for accuracy and compliance.
- Support account reconciliations and help resolve discrepancies in a timely manner.
- Lead, coach, and support accounting team members in daily workflow and process expectations.
- Partner with internal departments and vendors to resolve payment, billing, and documentation issues.
- Identify opportunities to improve accounting processes, controls, and overall efficiency.

Compensation and Benefits

- Salary range: $68,000.00 to $73,000.00 per year.
- Job type: Direct hire.
- Location: Portland, OR.



Required Qualifications and Skills

- Manage accounts payable and accounts receivable processes.
- Review invoices, payments, cash applications, and account reconciliations.
- Lead daily accounting operations and support a growing accounting team.

- 3 to 5 years of relevant accounting, accounts payable, or accounts receivable experience.
- Experience supervising or leading accounting operations, workflows, or team members.
- Strong knowledge of accounts payable processes, invoice review, payment processing, and account reconciliation.
- Ability to identify and resolve discrepancies with accuracy and attention to detail.
- Strong organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced accounting environment with changing priorities.

Preferred Qualifications

- Prior experience in an A/P Supervisor, A/R Supervisor, Accounting Supervisor, or similar leadership role.
- Experience supporting process improvements within accounting operations.
- Familiarity with accounting systems, ERP platforms, or invoice processing tools.
- Strong customer service mindset when working with vendors, internal teams, and accounting stakeholders.
