We are seeking a dedicated and safety-minded EHS Safety Associate for a temp-to-perm opportunity on the 2nd shift (8:00 PM–4:00 AM) within a fast-paced food processing environment. In this role, the EHS Safety Associate will actively support and monitor all site Environmental, Health, and Safety programs, ensuring compliance with regulatory standards and internal company policies. Responsibilities include conducting regular EHS trainings and safety meetings, performing onsite inspections, hazard assessments, sampling audits, and participating in or leading post-accident and incident investigations to promote a culture of safety and continuous improvement. This position requires someone who can work effectively across all levels of the organization, communicate clearly, remain organized, and demonstrate strong attention to detail. Candidates must be bilingual in English and Spanish, possess a clean DMV record with a valid driver’s license, and be comfortable working in a wide range of conditions including high-heat areas up to 110°F, cold environments down to -20°F, wet and damp spaces, and high-noise zones while also being able to lift up to 50 lbs and stay stationary for extended periods depending on job tasks. Preferred qualifications include certifications such as OSHA 30, Ag Safety, NSC Safety, Forklift Train-the-Trainer, and First Aid/CPR, along with strong knowledge of EHS regulatory standards and proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, Outlook, and similar programs. This role may also require overtime, weekend, and holiday work based on business needs, as well as occasional travel. All candidates must successfully pass a pre-placement drug/alcohol screening, physical evaluation, functional capacity test, and background check to be considered.
