A growing and established organization is seeking a detail-oriented A/R Administrative Associate to join its Legal & Asset Management team. This role is ideal for someone with strong administrative and collections experience who thrives in a fast-paced office environment and enjoys balancing customer communication, account research, and operational support responsibilities.
What You’ll Do:
- Respond to inbound customer calls and emails regarding account questions, payments, invoices, fees, and account updates
- Maintain detailed account documentation and activity notes within internal systems
- Support legal recovery and repossession processes through payment tracking, account research, skip tracing, and coordination with outside agencies and attorneys
- Process payments, legal billing information, bankruptcy documentation, and recovery-related paperwork
- Assist with administrative tracking, reporting, spreadsheets, and file management
- Collaborate with internal departments and external vendors to support account resolution efforts
What We’re Looking For:
- Previous experience in collections, accounts receivable, legal support, or administrative operations
- Strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple priorities effectively
- Excellent communication and customer service skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially Excel
- Ability to work independently while contributing to a team-oriented environment
- Strong organizational, problem-solving, and time-management abilities
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience handling delinquent accounts or recovery-related processes
- Familiarity with financial regulations and confidential account handling
- Comfortable working in a high-volume, deadline-driven environment
This is a fully in office role, temp to hire opportunity. Compensation is between $22-23 an hour.
