Short Description:

Analyze credit data and financial statements of individuals or firms to determine the risk involved in extending credit or lending money. They also determine the creditworthiness and risk profile of an individual or business by analyzing their financial data and deciding whether or not to extend their credit.

Duties / Responsibilities:

  • Work closely with the leadership team to formulate short- to long-term financial and strategic plans.
  • Analyze financial and operational results to understand the company's overall financial health.
  • Evaluate previous budgets and collaborate with business unit leaders to build annual budgets and forecasts.
  • Produce models to project long-term growth, accounting for factors impacting performance.
  • Provide detailed analysis and commentary on the performance of a product or department.
  • Communicate results and recommendations to senior management that will lead to revenue generation, cost reduction, and more efficient operations.

Skills / Requirements / Qualifications

  • Experience: Minimum of 10 years of relevant analytical experience.
  • Analytical Skillset: Utilization of Basic Intelligence (BI) and reporting tools. 
  • Research Skillset: Strong quantitive abilities.
  • Computer Skills: Highly proficient in MS Excel (e.g., formulas, pivot tables, tables, and graph production) and MS PowerPoint.
  • Certification: Professional qualification such as Certificate Authority (CA), Certified Public Accountant (CPA), or Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA).
