Duties / Responsibilities:

  • Provide tax advice to minimize tax liabilities and ensure compliance with tax laws.
  • Assist in tax planning and strategy development to optimize financial outcomes.
  • Stay updated with changes in tax legislation and assess their impact on the organization.
  • Collaborate with tax authorities and auditors during tax examinations or audits.
  • Maintain accurate records of financial transactions, deductions, and exemptions.
  • Assess tax implications for various financial decisions and transactions.
  • Analyze financial data and statements to identify tax optimization opportunities.
  • Communicate tax-related information and strategies to internal and external stakeholders.

Skills / Requirements / Qualifications

  • Education: Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, taxation, or a related field.
  • Tax Law: Strong knowledge of tax laws, regulations, and codes, as well as tax software.
  • Attention to Detail: Attention to detail and a high level of accuracy in tax preparation and analysis.
  • Analytical: Analytical and problem-solving skills for interpreting complex tax laws and financial data.
  • Communication: Effective communication and interpersonal skills for collaborating with teams and clients.
  • Organization: Organizational skills to manage multiple tax-related projects and deadlines.
  • Certificates: Relevant certifications, such as a Certified Public Accountant (CPA) or Certified Tax Professional (CTP), can be beneficial.
  • Tax Accounting: Experience in tax analysis, accounting, or a related role is often required.
