Short Description:

A Project Manager (Business) is responsible for planning, executing, and overseeing business-related projects to ensure they are completed on time, within scope, and within budget. They collaborate with cross-functional teams, define project objectives, manage resources, and track progress against key milestones. Project Managers identify and mitigate risks, communicate project updates to stakeholders, and drive continuous improvement efforts. They play a critical role in aligning project outcomes with the organization's strategic goals.

Duties / Responsibilities:

    • Plan, initiate, and manage business projects from inception to completion
    • Define project scope, objectives, deliverables, timelines, and resource needs
    • Coordinate cross-functional teams to ensure project milestones are achieved
    • Monitor project progress, identify risks, and implement mitigation strategies
    • Prepare and present project updates, status reports, and stakeholder communications
    • Manage project budgets, track expenditures, and ensure financial accountability
    • Ensure projects meet business goals, quality standards, and regulatory requirements
    • Facilitate meetings, brainstorming sessions, and project reviews
    • Resolve project-related issues and conflicts promptly to maintain momentum
    • Document project processes, lessons learned, and post-implementation reviews

Skills / Requirements / Qualifications

    • Education: Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Management, or a related field; PMP certification preferred
    • Project Management: Proficiency in project management methodologies such as Agile, Scrum, or Waterfall
    • Communication: Strong written and verbal communication skills for stakeholder management and team leadership
    • Organization: Exceptional organizational and time management skills to handle multiple priorities
    • Problem-Solving: Ability to anticipate challenges and develop practical solutions
    • Technical Skills: Proficient with project management software (e.g., MS Project, Asana, Jira, Trello)
    • Leadership: Ability to motivate, guide, and manage cross-functional project teams
    • Financial Acumen: Skilled in budgeting, forecasting, and financial reporting for business projects
