Short Description:

The 3D Modeler position requires a skilled professional adept at transforming conceptual ideas into intricate three-dimensional models. Responsible for creating detailed and visually appealing assets, the 3D Modeler collaborates closely with cross-functional teams to ensure alignment with project objectives and specifications. Proficiency in industry-standard modeling software, a keen eye for detail, and the ability to adapt to evolving design requirements are essential attributes for success in this role. The 3D Modeler contributes to the overall success of projects by producing high-quality, realistic models that enhance the visual aesthetics and functionality of the final product.

Duties / Responsibilities:

  • Create textures and UV maps to meet production expectations.
  • Execute 3D multimedia projects, including animation composites and renders for interactive productions.
  • Interpret concept art and sketches to create virtual characters, environments, and props.
  • Maintains a clean and organized production studio.
  • Prototype and iterate on models and characters based on direction and feedback from the design team.
  • Refine and edit model geometry and parameters based on feedback from the design team.
  • Rig models and characters for animation.
  • Stay abreast of the latest developments in 3D design, capture, and modeling tools and technologies.
  • Work with artists, animators, programmers, and production teams to understand 3D model requests and execute within deadlines.
