Short Description:

A Data Security Analyst safeguards an enterprise's data from external attacks. As a result, they are in demand in all industries powered by impacts, such as consultancy services, computer systems architecture, and financial services.

Duties / Responsibilities:

  • Participating in strategy and design discussions and contributing to the future design of the Foundations control stack.
  • Implements new security controls and integrates them within the existing control stack.
  • Enhancing control stack components by developing, configuring, and implementing new features, functions, and use cases.
  • Product manager for a subset of security controls.
  • Operating and maintaining tools within the control stack by applying patches, updates, and upgrades.
  • Troubleshooting and resolution of problems associated with security controls that affect the business or security objectives.
  • Research security tools, emerging threats, and active incidents and provides reports.
  • Member of Incident Response team responsible for investigating/resolving information security events.

Skills / Requirements / Qualifications

  • Experience: 6+ years of working experience in Information Security.
  • Education: BS Degree or equivalent experience; MS preferred in Information Technology.
  • Coding skills: Recent experience with writing code, scripts, or applications.
  • Miscellaneous: Demonstrated ability to implement security controls and projects. A data-driven approach to drive improvements to the program.
  • Certifications: in one or more of the following areas: CISSP, CISA, CISM, CEH, OSCP.
