Short Description:

The Financial Reporting Manager will manage the process to complete projects and recurring activities within three primary areas of responsibility: fiscal period-end accounting close and consolidations, financial reporting, and technical accounting.

Duties / Responsibilities:

  • Manage the consolidation process for budget, forecast, and actual results.
  • Led the monthly consolidated financial close controls process, including balance sheet and income statement analytics, statement of cash flows, and other monthly financial reporting requirements.
  • Maintain overall structure/organization of the General Ledger.
  • Complete monthly reporting to related-party companies.
  • Compile audit support for the consolidated financial report and related footnotes.
  • Evaluate, and develop tools, resources, and reports to help drive reporting efficiencies and comprehension.
  • Provide U.S. GAAP interpretation and prepare technical memorandums that document accounting issues logically, and comprehensively.
  • Assist with internal and external compliance efforts (i.e., annual audited reports, parent reporting, etc.).
  • Monthly reconciliation of specific general ledger accounts (Prepaid Assets, Misc. Accruals, etc.).

Skills / Requirements / Qualifications

  • Education: Bachelor's degree in accounting or finance required.
  • Certification: Certified public accountant (CPA) license is strongly preferred.
  • Experience: Professional accounting or financial management experience is required.
  • Miscellaneous: Familiarity with the U.S. GAAP and reporting standards.
  • Computer Skillset: Proficiency with Microsoft Office, QuickBooks, and other industry software.
