Short Description:

Responsible for overseeing content creation activities by working closely with the marketing team to devise a content strategy that aligns with the company's broader goals using new and repurposed content for different mediums, including digital, social media, and video.

Duties / Responsibilities:

  • Conduct research and interviews to determine which of a product's selling features should be promoted.
  • Consult with sales, media, and marketing representatives to obtain information on products or services and discuss style and length of content.
  • Create appropriate content for each platform according to set standards regarding the brand, audience, messaging, and terminology.
  • Edit, standardize, or change other writers' or team members' material to meet specific platform guidelines.
  • Interview staff and review material to become familiar with product technologies and production methods to accurately promote relevant products and services.
  • Select photographs, drawings, sketches, diagrams, and charts to illustrate product features and benefits.
  • Vary language and tone of messages based on audience, product, and medium.
  • Write articles, bulletins, sales letters, speeches, and other informative, marketing, and promotional material.
