Job Description Social Media Manager

Short Description:

Responsible for planning, implementing, managing, and monitoring the company's presence on social media in order to increase brand awareness, support marketing efforts, and increase sales.

Duties / Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with Marketing, Sales, and Product Development teams to launch and support new programs and products.
  • Communicate with industry professionals and influencers via social media to create a strong network.
  • Computer Proficiency — Using computers and computer systems (including hardware and software) to manage digital media presence, tasks, and strategies.
  • Define important social media goals and benchmarks.
  • Develop, implement, and manage a social media strategy that supports sales and marketing goals.
  • Manage and oversee social media content and company profiles on all platforms.
  • Measure the success of social media campaigns and report findings to company leadership.
  • Stay up to date with the latest social media best practices and technologies.
  • Suggest content optimization strategies by closely monitoring SEO and user engagement.
  • Work with copywriters and designers to ensure content is informative, appealing, and appropriate.
