Job Description Proposal Specialist

Short Description:

Responsible for coordinating contracts and proposals by collaborating with the sales and creative teams to provide accurate descriptions of how the company provides goods and/or services in order to generate new business.

Duties / Responsibilities:

  • Edit, standardize, or make changes to material prepared by other writers or team members.
  • Interview production and engineering personnel and read journals and other material to become familiar with product details, functionality, and production methods.
  • Maintain records and files of work and revisions.
  • Organize proposal materials according to set standards regarding brand, order, clarity, conciseness, style, and terminology.
  • Select photographs, drawings, sketches, diagrams, and charts to illustrate the positive attributes and functionality of the product.
