Welder – (MIG AND TIG – SHEET METAL FABRICATION PARTS)
-PAY: $26-33/hr DOE
-Location: Santa Ana, CA
-Shift: 1st shift
-The Role:
Welding Operator (Level 2) role is a full-time manufacturing position focused on MIG and TIG welding of sheet metal fabrication parts, including aluminum and stainless steel. The job requires reading blueprints, measuring materials, and producing high-quality welds while meeting production standards.
-Main Duties
• Perform MIG and TIG welding on sheet metal parts
• Read blueprints, drawings, work orders, and follow written/verbal instructions
• Measure and inspect parts using calipers and micrometers
• Monitor product quality and identify parts needing inspection
• Troubleshoot and adjust equipment as needed
• Update production records and maintain a clean, safe workspace
-Required Skills
• MIG and TIG welding experience
• Ability to read blueprints and technical drawings
• Understanding of welding quality standards and workmanship
• Strong attention to detail and communication skills
• Experience working in a manufacturing environment
-Qualifications
• High school diploma or GED
• At least 3 years of welding experience in manufacturing
• Knowledge of production and manufacturing processes
• Team-oriented and flexible with shifts, overtime, and weekends if required
