Role Summary:
We’re seeking a skilled Tax?Accountant to manage federal, state, and local tax compliance and reporting. You’ll play a key role in preparing tax returns, analyzing tax provisions, supporting audits, and collaborating across functions to optimize tax strategy.
Key Responsibilities:
Prepare and review corporate, partnership and individual tax returns (e.g., IRS?Form?1120, 1065, 1040).
Manage state and local tax filings and compliance.
Analyze tax provisions for quarterly/year-end financials and support year-end close.
Provide research on tax issues, interpret tax law changes, and assess impact on business operations.
Support internal and external tax audits.
Work cross-functionally with finance, legal and operations teams to provide tax guidance.
Maintain and improve tax processes and documentation.
Assist with tax planning, estimated tax payments and projections.
Preferred Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance or related field; CPA or Enrolled?Agent (EA) preferred.
3-5+ years of tax experience (corporate, public accounting or both).
Solid knowledge of US federal, state & local tax laws and regulations.
Proficiency with tax software ProSystem?fx and Excel.
Strong analytical, communication and organizational skills.
Ability to manage deadlines, handle multiple engagements concurrently and adapt in a fast-paced environment.
Experience in the tech or high-growth company space is a plus.
