Senior Marketing Financial Analyst (Part-Time, Remote – EST Preferred)

About the Role
We are seeking an experienced Senior Marketing Financial Analyst for a part-time, 12-month contracting opportunity supporting a major enterprise transformation initiative. This role is perfect for a highly analytical professional who excels in financial reporting, marketing analytics, and executive-level communication.
You will support global marketing performance reporting, financial modeling, forecasting, and monthly initiative tracking while partnering closely with Finance, FP&A, and cross-functional leadership teams. This role requires strong Excel modeling abilities, deep knowledge of marketing KPIs, and the ability to synthesize complex data into simple, actionable insights.
This is a remote position (EST hours preferred) offering flexibility to work approximately 10–14 hours per week over 2–3 days.
What You’ll Do
Marketing Financial Reporting
Lead monthly financial and performance reporting for 40+ marketing initiatives.
Prepare and deliver reporting packages covering cost, impact, revenue influence, and headcount trends.
Ensure consistency and accuracy across all marketing financial reports and KPIs.
Financial Modeling & Forecasting
Build and maintain forecasting models, scenario tools, attribution calculators, and trend analyses.
Consolidate financial, marketing, and operational data into unified reporting structures.
Support strategic discussions by providing ROI, ROMI, and ROAS performance insights.
Cross-Functional Partnership
Serve as a liaison between Marketing, Finance, FP&A, and transformation leadership.
Communicate reporting requirements and ensure consistent KPI alignment across teams.
Assist initiative owners with financial planning, business cases, and P&L considerations.
Advanced Analytics & Strategic Insight
Conduct in-depth analyses to drive marketing investment optimization.
Provide insight into customer acquisition metrics, including emerging frameworks such as LTV/CAC.
Produce executive-ready summaries translating complex data into clear narratives.
What We’re Looking For
Required Experience
7+ years in financial analysis, FP&A, marketing finance, or similar roles.
Strong background supporting marketing organizations or P&L-driven teams.
Expertise in marketing analytics concepts, including ROI, ROMI, ROAS, attribution, and KPI reporting.
Experience manipulating large, manual data sets (Excel-driven environment).
Education
Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Marketing, Economics, Data Analytics, or a related field.
Master’s degree is a plus.
Technical Skills
Advanced Excel (pivot modeling, DAX functions, complex formulas, forecasting, scenario modeling).
Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite.
Experience with BI tools such as Power BI or Tableau is a plus.
Soft Skills
Strong executive communication skills with the ability to present insights clearly.
Ability to collaborate with multiple senior stakeholders.
Proven problem-solver comfortable navigating ambiguity in a transformation environment.

Hours: 10–14 hours per week (flexible scheduling; EST preferred)
Location: Remote (must work core Eastern Time hours)
Compensation: Up to $68/hr
