Are you an Accountant looking for a new opportunity? We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Senior Accountant to join our dynamic accounting team in Bakery Square . Key Responsibilities of the Senior Accountant:
- Prepare and review monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements in accordance with GAAP.
- Manage general ledger activities, including journal entries, reconciliations, and accruals.
- Lead month-end and year-end close processes, ensuring timely and accurate reporting.
- Support budgeting and forecasting efforts in collaboration with department leaders.
- Analyze financial data to identify trends, variances, and opportunities for cost savings.
- Assist with internal and external audits, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements.
- Maintain and improve accounting policies, procedures, and internal controls.
- Collaborate cross-functionally with operations, HR, and IT to support financial initiatives.

Qualifications of the Senior Accountant:
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field (CPA preferred).
- 5+ years of progressive accounting experience, ideally in a mid-sized or enterprise environment.
- Strong knowledge of GAAP and financial reporting standards.
- Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., NetSuite, QuickBooks, SAP, or similar ERP systems).
- Advanced Excel skills and experience with data analysis tools.
- Excellent communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
