Job Title: Mailroom Associate

Reports To: Client Services Supervisor/Manager
Position Overview:
We are seeking a motivated and adaptable individual to join our team as a Mailroom Associate. You will be responsible for supporting mailroom operations while also serving as a back-up receptionist. Duties will include sorting, logging, and distributing incoming and outgoing mail and packages, as well as managing a shared email inbox for mailroom communications. As the receptionist when needed, you will answer and transfer phone calls, take messages, greet and escort visitors to meeting rooms, maintain visitor and delivery logs, and report any complaints or concerns to the site manager.
Schedule & Pay:
• Monday to Friday: 7:30 AM to 4:30 PM
• Pay rate: $22/hr
Responsibilities:
• Sort, log, and distribute incoming/outgoing mail and packages
• Manage shared email inbox for mailroom communications
• Serve as receptionist as needed:
o Answer and transfer calls, take messages
o Greet and escort visitors to meeting rooms
o Maintain visitor and delivery logs
o Report complaints or issues to site manager
o Act as office lead when site manager is out
• Lift up to 50 lbs (assistance provided if needed)
Requirements:
• High school diploma required; Associate or Bachelor's degree preferred
• 2+ years of relevant business experience, preferably in a law firm or administrative setting
• Proficiency in MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
• Strong customer service, multitasking, and organizational skills
• Professional demeanor with the ability to maintain confidentiality
