Inventory Specialist- Shipping and Receiving

We are seeking a dependable and detail-oriented Inventory Specialist to support our shipping and receiving operations. This role is essential to maintaining accurate inventory records, processing incoming and outgoing shipments, and ensuring smooth warehouse logistics. Experience with bills of lading and shipping documentation is required.

Key Responsibilities
Receive and inspect incoming shipments; verify contents against purchase orders and bills of lading

Accurately log inventory data into warehouse systems

Prepare and package outgoing shipments according to company and carrier standards

Maintain organized stock in designated storage areas

Conduct regular cycle counts and assist with full inventory audits

Communicate with vendors, carriers, and internal teams to resolve discrepancies

Ensure all shipping and receiving documentation is complete and accurate

Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work environment

Qualifications
High school diploma or equivalent

3–5 years of experience in inventory, shipping, or receiving

Experience with bills of lading and shipping documentation is required

Strong attention to detail and organizational skills

Basic computer skills and familiarity with inventory software

Ability to lift up to 30 lbs and stand for extended periods

Dependable, punctual, and team-oriented
