Position: Payroll and Human Resources Officer (Part-Time)
Location: Metro Office Park, Guaynabo
Schedule: Monday to Friday, 8:00 a.m. – 1:00 p.m. (20 hours per week)
Compensation: $15.00 per hour
Availability: Must be available to work 8-hour shifts and occasional overtime as needed
About the Role
We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Payroll and Human Resources Officer (Part-Time) to support our administrative and operational functions. This position is responsible for processing payroll and providing support to Human Resources and other departments.
The ideal candidate will have experience in payroll management, proficiency with ADP Workforce Now, and the ability to handle confidential information with professionalism and discretion.
Key Responsibilities
Manage the full payroll process for all employees using ADP Workforce Now.
Verify accuracy of worked hours, overtime, leave, deductions, and applicable tax filings (SINOT, Choferil, CFSE).
Generate payroll reports and ensure compliance with local, state, and federal labor regulations.
Maintain and update employee data, adjustments, and reports.
Assist with benefits administration and employee record management (both electronic and physical files).
Support recruitment and onboarding processes.
Prepare internal documentation, reports, and presentations.
Assist with phone reception and provide administrative support to other departments as needed.
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
Proven experience using ADP Workforce Now.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
Ability to handle sensitive and confidential information with discretion.
Excellent multitasking and time management abilities.
Ethical, professional, and proactive approach to work.
