We are seeking a highly capable and motivated HR Generalist to join our Human Resources team. This role is responsible for supporting and executing a wide range of HR functions, including recruitment, employee relations, performance management, benefits administration, compliance, and training. The ideal candidate is a strategic thinker with strong interpersonal skills, a passion for employee engagement, and a deep understanding of employment laws and HR best practices.
Key Responsibilities:
Manage the full recruitment cycle: job postings, candidate screening, interviews, and hiring
Oversee employee onboarding and orientation programs to ensure a smooth transition into the organization
Address employee concerns, mediate conflicts, and promote a positive and inclusive workplace culture
Coordinate performance appraisal processes and assist managers with performance improvement plans
Implement and enforce HR policies and procedures in alignment with company goals and legal requirements
Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local labor laws and regulations
Identify training needs and organize employee development programs, workshops, and compliance sessions
Administer employee benefits programs including health insurance, retirement plans, and wellness initiatives
Assist employees with benefits-related inquiries and resolve issues with vendors or carriers
Maintain accurate and up-to-date employee records while ensuring confidentiality and data security
Support compensation planning, conduct salary surveys, and analyze market data for pay equity
Prepare and submit required reports to regulatory agencies and internal stakeholders
Develop and implement employee engagement initiatives, including satisfaction surveys and action planning
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field
3–5 years of experience as an HR Generalist or in a similar HR role
HR certification (e.g., SHRM-CP, PHR) preferred
Strong knowledge of HR practices, employment laws, and compliance standards
Excellent verbal and written communication skills; ability to interact effectively across all levels
Proven conflict resolution and negotiation skills with a high level of emotional intelligence
Strong organizational and time management abilities; capable of managing multiple priorities
Analytical and problem-solving mindset with sound judgment and decision-making skills
Proficient in HRIS systems and Microsoft Office Suite; adaptable to new technologies
High attention to detail and accuracy in maintaining records and documentation
