We are seeking a Tax CPA to join a growing firm focused on individuals and small businesses. This role includes preparing and reviewing tax returns, managing tax resolution cases, handling audits, and ensuring compliance with IRS and state regulations.
You’ll lead quality control by reviewing returns prepared by the team, write internal procedures, and train staff on tax software and workflows. You'll also collaborate with leadership to improve systems and support long-term growth.
Candidates must have an active CPA license in California (or reciprocity), at least three years of tax or public accounting experience, strong knowledge of tax prep and resolution, and proficiency in QuickBooks and Drake. Prior experience reviewing returns and writing internal processes is required. Strong leadership and communication skills are essential. Bilingual Spanish is a plus.
