We’re a growing tax and accounting firm looking for a proactive, relationship-focused CPA to join our team. If you enjoy supporting clients, improving systems, mentoring others, and being part of a firm that’s building for the future, this role offers the chance to make a meaningful impact.
This is a key role in both day-to-day operations and long-term strategy. You’ll work directly with clients, oversee tax and bookkeeping work, guide resolutions with tax agencies, and help strengthen our internal processes and team development.
Bilingual Spanish is required.
What You’ll Do
Provide bookkeeping support for individuals and small businesses
Manage tax resolution cases (offers in compromise, payment plans, correspondence with tax agencies)
Prepare and review individual and business tax returns
Review and sign off on returns prepared by team members to ensure accuracy
Assist with IRS and state notices and audits
Create and refine clear workflows, checklists, and SOPs
Train and mentor preparers and support staff
Collaborate with leadership to improve systems, service quality, and firm operations
Contribute to a positive, accountable, growth-oriented work culture
Who We’re Looking For
Active CPA license in California (or eligible for reciprocity)
3+ years of experience in tax and/or public accounting
Solid understanding of tax preparation and general accounting principles
Experience reviewing and correcting work prepared by others
Comfortable writing or refining internal procedures
Proficient in QuickBooks and Drake (or similar software)
Clear, professional communicator with strong client skills
Able to support and guide a small team when needed
Bilingual Spanish (required)
