Bilingual EHS Technician (English/Spanish) – Temp-to-Hire | Afternoon Shift
We are seeking an experienced Bilingual EHS Technician to support safety operations in a fast-paced, hands-on environment. This temp-to-hire opportunity offers competitive pay ($20–$25/hr) and a consistent afternoon schedule (2:00 PM – 10:30/11:00 PM).
In this role, you’ll play a key part in fostering a safe, compliant workplace by leading training initiatives, monitoring safety practices, and collaborating with cross-functional teams. If you meet the requirements:
3–5 years of experience in Environmental, Health & Safety (EHS)
Solid understanding of regulatory requirements and compliance standards
Fluency in English and Spanish (spoken and written)
Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook)
Strong communication skills with the ability to engage employees at all levels
Exceptional organization, attention to detail, and interpersonal abilities
Flexibility to work afternoons, overtime, weekends, and holidays as needed
Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record
Ability to pass background check, drug/alcohol screening, and physical evaluation

Preferred Certifications
OSHA 30 Certification
Agricultural (Ag) Safety Certification
NSC Safety Certification
Forklift Train-the-Trainer Certification
First Aid/CPR Certification

Key Responsibilities are:
Support and monitor workplace safety programs to ensure compliance
Lead safety trainings and meetings, including sessions conducted in Spanish
Conduct inspections, audits, and risk assessments to identify potential hazards
Assist with incident investigations, documentation, and corrective action plans
Collaborate with operations and other teams to strengthen safety practices
Maintain accurate records and documentation related to EHS activities
Contribute to continuous improvement efforts focused on workplace safety
Travel occasionally to support EHS initiatives across locations
