Overview:
We are seeking a detail-oriented and organized Benefits Administrator to join our HR team in Tukwila, Washington. This is a 100% onsite position, ideal for a Washington-based professional who excels in managing employee benefits, ensuring compliance, and supporting HR operations. The Benefits Administrator will oversee benefits enrollment, administration, and employee communication, helping ensure a seamless benefits experience for all staff.
Key Responsibilities:
Administer employee benefits programs, including health, dental, vision, life insurance, and retirement plans
Assist with benefits enrollment, changes, and terminations in compliance with federal and state regulations
Maintain accurate benefits records and prepare reports for management and audits
Serve as a primary point of contact for employee benefits questions and provide clear guidance
Coordinate with vendors, insurance carriers, and payroll to ensure accurate deductions and compliance
Support HR initiatives related to benefits, wellness programs, and employee engagement
Stay up-to-date on industry trends, legal requirements, and best practices in benefits administration
Qualifications:
2+ years of experience in benefits administration, HR, or related field
Knowledge of Washington State benefits regulations and federal compliance (e.g., ACA, ERISA, HIPAA)
Strong organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills
Proficiency with HRIS systems and Microsoft Office Suite
Ability to work independently in a 100% onsite office environment
Must be a current Washington State resident and authorized to work in the U.S.
