Accounts Payable Specialist
Location: Downtown Riverside, CA
Pay: $25–$27 per hour
Schedule: Full-time | Monday-Friday
We’re seeking an experienced Accounts Payable Specialist to support a busy, deadline-driven accounting team in Downtown Riverside. This role handles full-cycle AP, invoicing, vendor setup, consultant payments, check runs, filing, and insurance documentation. The ideal candidate is highly organized, detail-oriented, strong in Excel, and comfortable communicating with vendors, consultants, and internal teams.
Key Duties:
Process invoices, employee reimbursements, and consultant payments
Run weekly Friday check runs (all checks by 3 PM)
File payments, deposits, and AP documents weekly
Set up new vendors, request W-9s, and maintain vendor records
Request, track, and update Certificates of Insurance (COIs)
Maintain accuracy in Ajera and Excel
Qualifications:
3+ years AP experience
Strong Excel & 10-key skills
Excellent communication & organization
Ability to multitask and meet deadlines
Comfortable working with vendors/consultants
