Time Between Assignments — Make it work for you!
Your AppleOne Account Executive is doing everything possible to keep you working
on the kinds of assignments you desire. There may be times, however, when you are
not on assignment. If this happens to you, regard it as an opportunity to better
yourself.
AppleOne has a variety of computerized tutorials available to you. You have an
opportunity to learn basic to advanced skills on a number of today's most popular
software applications. The two most in-demand software packages today are
Microsoft Word and Excel for Windows™. Tutorials for both of these are available
at your local AppleOne.
Once you've gone through a tutorial, make sure you ask to be tested. By doing this,
your AppleOne Account Executive will add that particular skill along with your score
to your profile. The more programs you learn, the more marketable you are. In other
words, the more you learn, the easier it will be for your Account Executive to find and
send you out on premium assignments. There is no need to be afraid of scoring
poorly as you may always repeat the tutorial and test again at a later date. It's a
learning process, and AppleOne is here to help.
Tutorial sessions are free to all registered AppleOne associates, however, a
scheduled appointment is required. Available tutorials vary from branch to branch.
