Our First Hill/Downtown Seattle physicians group client is looking for a Medical Bill Coder to identify all services requiring professional fee billing. Responsibilities revolve around reviewing data sources including EPIC, ORCA, Mindscape, CRDB, other electronic information, and records of patients for possible billable services. The Fee Coder will need a basic understanding of anatomy and physiology as well as an ability to converse with physicians. The Charge Reconciliation Database must be maintained to log that all procedures are billed in a timely manner. There will be occasional educational in-services presentations for physicians and clinical staff to go over new procedures and documentation We are an equal employment opportunity employer.
