COLLECTOR POSITION I. Candidate's Qualifications: The ideal candidate for these positions will have experience working in a collection agency environment working prime through tertiary consumer credit cards. There are several different departments within our collections division that need staffing, including hardcore collections, settlement team and rewards team. Our company will be willing to hire call center customer service oriented candidates who are interested in being trained. It is preferred that the candidate be very familiar with the Fair Debt Collection Practices Act and Fair Credit Reporting Act. Also, knowledge of CLS's collection master software and Touchstar and/or IAT Dialer system is a plus. Spanish speaking is also a plus. He/she should have a personable disposition with the ability to communicate easily. The candidate should have strong negotiation skills. Also, the candidate should be honest, reliable, motivated, a self-starter and responsible. In addition, this individual should be able to pass a background and security check, since he/she will be dealing with private and confidential information. II. Job Duties The candidate will be primarily responsible to handle both inbound and outbound calls for different portfolios of accounts in a call center environment. However, the candidate will have to be able to make intelligent next step collection decisions in order to collect an account. The candidate should know how to do light skip tracing work through on-line databases and other sources of information. III. Salary/Compensation A. Depends on collection agency experience, skill level and department assigned. B. Bonus: Based on total collections and the portfolios to which the candidate is assigned. i. Based on Personal, Departmental and Company collection production; ii. Monetary, Time Off and Gift Bonuses available; and iii. Monthly, daily and weekly contests. C. Benefits: For full-time employees, 95% contribution for health, 50% for dental and vision after 90 day waiting period for employee. Vacation based on years of service but starts at 2 weeks PTO. Major Holidays plus 2 floating holidays included.
