We are currently accepting potential Candidates who meet the following: MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS •Current enrollment in an accredited four-year college or university carrying a minimum of 12 Semester or 8 Quarter units (Copy of most recent transcript to be brought at time of Interview/Registration) •Maintain a cumulative grade point average (GPA) of 3.0 or higher on a 4.0 scale Candidates REQUIRED Commitments: * Availability (onsite) of a maximum of 20 hours per week (Intern works hours may vary and be mutually agreeable between the intern and supervisor) * Internship START DATE: Monday - June 03, 2024 *Able to COMMIT to the DURATION of the Internship through Friday - October 25, 2024. Will evaluate current social media platforms and suggest content ideas that are dynamic and up-to-date with current trends. Draft social media posts for various platforms (including video, in addition to static messaging). Make suggested content ideas for newsletters, e-connect, bill messaging, messaging campaigns, etc. Draft/design branded collateral materials to include but not limited to: Video, templates, infographics, advertisement sets, new graphic icons, and other design elements. Support special events, data entry, and correspondence as needed. Work on special projects for the Public Affairs communication team and other duties as assigned. ADDITIONAL REQUIREMENTS:Excellent written and oral communication skills. Proficient in MS Office (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Publisher). Advanced skills with multiple social media tools preferred, including Instagram, Facebook, Twitter, LinkedIn, YouTube, etc. Experience with Canva, InDesign, iMovie, and Photoshop desired. Decisive, energetic and able to work autonomously. Organized and detail oriented. Junior or Senior class level desired. MINIMUM EDUCATIONAL REQUIREMENTS: Undergraduate Level college students attending an accredited college/trade school Desired course work/degree: Communications, Public Relations, Graphic Design, Journalism & New Media, Media Design.
